Vacation Pictures Part 1

I finally got my camera back from my mother, and I haven't really had time to share any of the pictures since then, so I might as well do it here =P
Okay so these aren't in the order I planned for some reason....anyway, Pictures! Yes! So first one is of my grandmother's little patio inside the house, and the dark scary corner there is teh bathroom....>_>
Better view of the patio( Ignore the drawing Kibby there ^^; ) You can also see part of the kitchen, and the little table there has the tv and phone that connects us to the outside world =P
Rooftop view of where my aunt lives in Guatemala City. All the houses were build/rebuild at different times, so they all jumble up and make strange rooftops, but I like them this way . Note that the pictures will show either my grandmother's village (rural area) or my aunt's house(capital city).
Up on a hillside( all the little plants in the foreground are onion sprouts xD). This is the view of the whole village my grandmother lives in. It's pretty small, but everyone is close knit, which makes it so basically everyone is related ._.Front view of my grandma's house. Honestly, whenever I think of Guatemala, the very first image I get is of this view, it is the most iconic in my mind. Lots of space up front, enough that my Tia Maricela had enough to just build her house right next to it( The first set of steps to the right are for her house). It's a shame that the tree wasn't in bloom though, as it fills with these vivid red flowers that make the tree look like it's on fire (hence the name Arbol de Fuego, or "fire tree"). And yes, those are calves by the truck...

Another rooftop view from aunt's house. I cannot deny that the view of the mountain is awesome from here...The roof below is a neighbor's roof too...

My family in Guatemala is basically all farmers or field workers on my mother's side, so naturally we have plots of land. This one I think is beans and tomatoes farther down. The other plots in the shot are from neighbors.
The fields are about a 20 minute walk from my Grandmother's place, so we tend to just go and explore for the mornings we don't visit relatives ( That's my sister and my Tia Maricela there).
Kitty! This is the nameless/cat-with-a-million-names feline that my grandmother keeps as a pet. He's a mediocre mouser, which is the only reason people have cats there in the first place, but that might be my fault. When she had first gotten him 5 years ago we came to visit, and I played with him too much, thus making him 'soft'. Whatever, he still remembered me and sat in my lap whenever he got the chance~<3.
Another view of the farmlands. The area where all the planting goes on is nicknamed "la jolla", which I'm not sure means the pot or the jewel, as it could be slang for something I don't even know....

Anyway, I'll slowly post the other pictures later on as I have time.

Cause Yuki is weird and wants to see my homework =P

Basically I have to draw lots of shapes in different sizes, then 'connect' them as if they were covered in skin or spandex...whatever floats your boat >_>

Cubes are harder >_>

These are also done on 18x24 paper, which is roughly about 6 normal pieces of paper put together....3 more to go TT^TT

What the hell, you guys are watching me >_>

Dammit, guess i have to update this thingy now huh?

*Dun like you guys* >_>

Hm...lets see what I could put in here....

Rundown of weekly schedule:
Mon-Thurs: Afternoon/night classes from 12:30 until about 4/6pm

Fri/Sat: Working from 10-5, with nights catching up on weekly homework

Sun: Only real free day, except that I'll still be catching up on homework...dammit...

Basically, my only 'slacking' days will be Wednesday/Thurday, as I'll be done with the week of work and procrastinating on assignments >_O.

Luckily, since they're all late classes, I can stay up later xD

I apparently have an art history class...but you know, it's almost like I don't give a crap about it, with what I've been focusing on o.o.

...You know what? Imma post vacation pictures up here...yeah... that'll work instead of me ranting =P
